Can anyone participate in the online/home study Hunter Education course?
Upon registration students will be able to obtain lesson and assignment materials that can be reviewed online or downloaded for offline study. Upon completion of the course material, you will be eligible to make an appointment with an Instructor, to write the course examination. The completed assignments found at the end of each lesson, together with required documentation from the “Canadian Firearms Safety Course” MUST be provided to the examiner at the time of testing. Examination schedules are based on student demand and instructor availability. There is a $25.00 examination fee, for persons who complete the course study through the online option, which is payable at the time of testing. Examinations are normally offered in the fall and winter months and less frequently during the spring and summer. The pass mark on this examination is 80%.
