I was going to say those when I read the question…. I did rock and roll music (Peter, Paul, and Mary) I dig the Mamas and the Papas at “The Trip,” Sunset Strip in L.A I dig Donovan in a dream-like, tripped out way His crystal images tell you ’bout a brighter day And when the Beatles tell you They’ve got a word “love” to sell you The Mamas & the Papas – Creeque Alley they only mention the loving spoonful by name but they mention mcGuinn and McGuire (the byrds) and themselves Michelle, John, and Denny gettin’ very tuneful. (momma and pappas) McGuinn and McGuire just a-catchin’ fire in L.A., (the byrds) You know where that’s at.
