Yes, anyone over the age of 16 can join the club. Do I have to be able to swim like a fish and hold my breath for 10 minutes underwater? No, you don’t need to swim like a fish but you must pass a basic swimming test. Part of the test requires you to swim around 350 meters (14 lengths), tread water for 30 seconds, recover 3 small objects from the bottom of the pool and you only need to hold your breath for 30 seconds underwater.
