Can anyone join a BNI chapter?
BNI DownCity accepts one person from each field. If you work in a field that is filled, such as residential real estate or mortgage lending, we can refer you to another chapter. Q: How do you know new members are reputable? A: Downcity’s membership committee screens every applicant; we check references, interview candidates and learn as much about the potential member as possible before selecting the person for membership. Q: What if a member gets a referral and does poor work? A: Our membership committee serves as our ethics committee. It will investigate every complaint lodged against a member and seek resolution. Our goal is to ensure exceptional quality for each time a member gives a referral, his or her reputation is on the line. Q: What occupations benefit the most from networking?
