The vertical line for the building is the same line for both. For the purpose of the problem, ignore the fact that the men’s eyes are some distance above the ground, and just assume they’re measuring those angles right from the ground. This starts out as two problems. You know the opposite side of the angle in each case (80 m). You also know the angles.
