Can anyone help with this sick dog problem?

Inflammatory Bowel Disease can cause the vomiting. There are other things, of course – but that is the first thing that comes to mind. Did your vet who operated take full thickness biopsies? Since he/she was in there that should have been done to check for IBD. A scope cannot take full thickness biopsies. And a scope can tell less than actually opening the dog up and looking. I understand that your vet was looking for a foreign body (something she ate and got stuck) but after not finding anything there should have been biopsies taken. I understand you’re worried sick, but you need now to start asking questions at the next vet you see. Write down every question you have as it comes to mind so you don’t forget. The vet should have no problem with this and if they do – find another vet. Most vets I know would rather have someone who is educating themselves than someone who comes in and wants them to magically fix their pet.
