Can anyone help with milia please????
Milia are most common around the eye area and those with a dryer skin. Milia are a hard fatty elevation, caused by a blind duct in which sebum, fatty acids and cholesterol become trapped. They can be caused by an excess of acid either in the diet or in the body’s own production of acids. May be a secondary association of heat problems, if very severe. Small recently formed milia may be eased in to the ciculation and dissapated by massage. They may be carefully pierced with a sterile lance or diathermy needle at your local salon. By piercing the blind duct, the milia can be eased out of the skin. The utmost attention to hygiene must be used to prevent any risk of infection.
