How long do you have until the tryouts? You should start conditioning and stretching to get into an even better shape. You could also work your jumps at home. Try stretching with these stretches: TOE TOUCHES- Definitely stretch your straddles- sit in a straddle, pushing your legs as far back as you can, and reach to the sides (holding it for a bit) and then reach into the middle. This will get your middle splits and well, basically your flexibility down good. PIKES- go into a pike position (toes POINTED!) and reach down- these will obviously help you with your pikes. HURDLERS- Sit on your knees by a table that’s high enough for you to rest your foott on (while your are sitting on your knees) and put one of your legs onto that table so that you are in the hurdler position and just reach, hold, and feel the stretch.
