Can anyone help me understand why a newborn (6days) burps would smell like rotten eggs?
All my kids were formula fed, but the formula was iron-fortified. They had the raunchiest burps. Iron is most likely to blame. Once her digestive system matures, around 2-4 months, it won’t be so bad. If you ever get the curdled stuff, it’s because they ate too much, some of it got partially digested, and their tummy couldn’t keep it all in, so it’s coming out. Hope I helped.
