As already covered pretty well here, it is in the tank, and you should definitely get the complete assembly from your nearest Chrysler, Dodge, or Jeep dealer, even for the extra cost it’s money well spent. To remove it, best thing is to get a repair manual from your local parts store, and follow the correct procedures in there. Also, before you spend the money on replacing the pump, make sure it isn’t the ASD relay or fuel pump relay causing it to not pump. These are located in the under-hood fuse/relay block, and the cover should show the locations of them. There are several relays that are the same, switch the ASD relay with another known good relay (rear defroster, aka EBL, uses the same relay) and see if it works, if not, then try the fuel pump relay. The relay is about $10 to $15, so I would definitely check it first.
