The Libertines (uk band) The Majority of their songs are poetic, due a great partnership in music, Peter Doherty and Carlos Barat. Their First album ‘Up The Bracket’ is a beautiful album. Their second Album ‘The Libertines’ takes you through their fall, and eventual break up due internal conflicts, many of which stemmed from Doherty’s addictions to crack cocaine and heroin.
