Can anyone give me some ideas for a GCSE english speech?
well make sure you make it something your passionate about..so all those topics seem like good ideas, make sure you talk about both sides of each topic and give a fair representation& don’t impose your views too much. I spoke about animal rights in my GCSE talk and the teacher didn’t agree with my point of view so I think marked me down for that. In another talk I spoke about euthanasia which is an interesting and contraversial topic and showed a clip from ‘Whos life is it anyway’. Make sure you talk about something others will be interested in and that you use lots of ‘audience participation’, i.e. give out leaflets, ask for a show of hands etc as this increases interest.
