Once your credit is cleaned up, check with different lenders about prequalifying for a loan. No down payment on a new home can be accomplished through a Veterans Admin loan, and some others. Since you’re on the computer, research what loans may offer you a no down. Some sellers offer financing and no down, so shop for those types of situations as well. After prequalifying for a loan, then contact a realtor, and let them know that you are serious, and they will assist you with the rest usually, since they have a greater interest in having you buy.
