Can anyone give me any horror stories about home invasion where someones family died and was brutally murdered?
There are a LOT of cases out there. However, I couldn’t give you one, based on 100% fact, off the top of my head. My first suggestion would be to contact the NRA and see if they have any posted on their website, or related sites, either negative or positive. You could take one where a firearm saved a life and use it to show HOW it worked, and how it could have not worked had the person not had one. There are other groups that record this information also, but I have not kept up with them for a while (no longer working in this area). As for the police and their “arrival,” groups like the NAACP keep very nice files on the racial issues involved in such matters. Sadly, some cops will not respond to a call if they know the caller, for whatever reasons, and incidents happen that are later denied. At other times, the incident is questionable, but police response is slow due to area of coverage and number of officers, which lead to negative reports that could be racially motivated. I would lo
