Since the pitcher is a defensive position, everything a pitcher does normally are his responsibilities pitching the ball, fielding the ball, covering first base on a ground ball to the right side of the infield, backing up the catcher on plays at home. Throwing techniques? Underhand and overhand. Unless you want to talk about sidearm and all of the different arm positions pitchers use to throw different types of pitches. Batting techniques? Swinging and bunting. Unless you want to include the drag bunt and the slap bunt. Or do you want to talk about place hitting and power hitting?
