by Sodahead on February 21st, 2010 Fact: Both of my neighbors are without a job. Fact: I know not one person that has a federal stimulus job. Fact: Inflation went up last week and with all the spending by congress it’s going to go far higher. Fact: I was far better off under Bush then I am now. I only stated facts for you. Deficit spending never leads to good. It never has and for some reason the democrats think that that’s going to change. We can see by looking at Germany in the 1930 and Greece today that it will fail. Comments Fact: Republicans have increased the deficit far more that Democrats. Fact: This recession began right at the end of the Bush years – hence can in no way be blamed on Obama… but rather on those glorious Bush years. Fact: There is virtually no dispute among economists that the stimulus prevented a bad recession from becoming much worse. Among other things, it has preserved or created 1.6 million to 1.8 million jobs, according to various private sector analyses
