Can anyone give an example of a valuable “digital asset?”?
That is a very interesting question. I can give an example of websites having value, websites being obviously digital. Some websites or specifically domain names have value based on how well they rank in search engines, how many followers the website currently has, and how much business or traffic it generates. A website or domain name’s age can contribute to this, but also the work that went into programming it and the work that went into the creation of the content on the website that makes it popular. As an example, if I am looking to get into the “widget” business, I may consider trying to buy an exisiting website that will jump start my online business as opposed to creating a site from scratch and waiting months or years for it to become popular enough for me to earn a living with.
