Can anyone get involved in woodlands?
Yes – the Lancashire Woodlands Project works with all kinds of people to help them explore, enjoy and learn from woodlands. Here are some examples of the things the project has done. • Enabled people with physical disabilities including visual and hearing impairments to do practical woodland management work. • Provided training for children at risk of exclusion from school. • Helped primary school groups from areas of social deprivation to visit and learn from woodlands. • Introduced minority ethnic groups to the opportunities woodland offer.
