Can Anyone explain to me the links of the moon phases to gravity?

Yeah the phase of the moon is not affected by gravity, except for the fact that gravity keeps the moon in orbit around the Earth. Although ocean tides are indeed affected by the phase of the moon because when the moon is in certain phases it just so happens that the moon is closer to the earth correlating to a stronger gravitational pull on our oceans. I’ve linked an article that discusses this.
