Can anyone explain to me the differences between all the apple computers (including laptops) available?
Apple make 2 basic types. Desktop and Laptops, The desktops are either iMacs for anyone who wants a good machine and do not need to have an extremely high spec, Mac minis for people who already have keyboards and display, finally Mac Pros for users who want the fastest and most flexibile Mac. The laptops split into home/casual (Macbook) and pro (Macbook Pro) users. Even the basic Macbook is fairly powerful and can easily be used for what you want. But as others have said do not buy memory from Apple as they charge a lot for it. Apple laptops appear to be more expensive, but do not fogret that included is useful software and the build quality is best in class, they are also likely to last much longer than any PC and they have a good 2nd value, just check the prices on ebay.
