Can anyone explain the structure of the Spartan government?
Spartan society was the most unique of all the Peloponnesians. It was a very lawful society, and law breakers were scorned and ostracised from society. From day one a Spartan lived a harsh life. If a child was born deformed, with an uneven heart beat, uneven breathing, or even simply that the parents thought they looked weak, then they were left to die.
