Can anyone explain the disgraceful Muslim funeral my mother attended?
no that is not normal for muslims to treat their dead, however it is muslim tradition that the sons or brothers or the males of the family bury the person, the females cannot mix wit the males so is why they will have been stood at the back its just respectfull thats all, the female relatives will of had a chance to see the woman before she was burried away from the men so they will not have been pushed out from the ceremony at all but i do agree with you that the way the dead person was treated was disgusting but it has nothing to do with religion or culture its just the individuals who was burrying her
