Can anyone explain the difference between MAME, MAMEUI, and MAME32?

It’s been a while for me but … MAME = (M)ultiple (A)rcade (M)achine (E)mulator, and it is the core program that runs all the game ROMs that it’s designed for. Like any software it has multiple versions and releases, runs on multiple types of computers and hardware, and is written in a programming language. MAMEUI = One of the many (U)ser (I)nterfaces for the core MAME program, that makes it easier to use for non-computer technical people who don’t work with system languages on a regular basis. The general public’s “wrapper” for the actual product. MAME32 = the 32-bit release of MAME’s core program, designed originally for Windows XP at it’s release, and the CPUs that allowed us to move past the limitations of the Pentium2 chips. I had a version around 1998 of MAME32 with about a hundred ROMs (and have long since lost it) that someone assembled and attached a Windows front-end for, but that doesn’t do either of us much good.
