Can anyone else do a coating similar to Zircotec?

There are a number of companies offering paint based products, but these are primarily intended for aesthetics and offer only minimal thermal barrier performance (see our response to Q25). These products are very different to Zircotec’s coatings. There are also some companies offering what they call a “mag-zirc” or “plasma spray” coatings, but these materials and the processes involved are not the same as those used by Zircotec. They fail to match the thermal performance and longevity of Zircotec’s coatings. Q26.
