Can anyone donate Echocardiogram Machines?
I am reaching out to my network in behalf of a friend who has selflessly devoted his life to helping children as a Trustee of the Gift of Life Program which provides life saving heart surgery for babies and children who could not other wise afford it from all over the world. He is currently establishing this program in Albania. In Albania for every 1000 births per year there are 7-9 babies that are born with congenital heart defects that will need surgical repair. To make a long story short there is only 1 cardiothoracic surgeon and 3 cardiologists that see children in a country of 3.5 million people. They have to share 1 Echocardiogram Machine that is not in great working order. Gift of Life needs Echocardiogram Machines to bring to Albania. The most urgent need is one dedicated to Pediatrics. If anyone knows of anyone that has any machines that they are not in need of please let me know. Thank you.
