Can anyone describe to me how an indian man acts & behaves?
Hi Rebecca, I think ‘Indian men’ is a too generalised term as India is a big country with a largely heterogenous population of more than 1 billion. There is indeed a huge gap among their mind, characteristics, traits and habits. Still, I will tell you a few things I feel. The Indian culture is largely guided by traditional things. And the largest population of India are either traditional Hindus or Muslims of the Aryan race, although you will find Buddhists and people of Mongol origin if you travel up north. Coming to the point, culturally women are supposed to be respected as an incarnation of Goddess Laxmi according to Hindu Mythology. So, in general on the outside, they respect the women and women get certain privilege compared to men. The fact that there are different seats for men and women in public transport in India could be an example.
