Can anyone complain to the PCC?
Yes. The PCC is specifically designed to help members of the public who find themselves – often through no fault of their own – involved in news stories. Our services are totally free and require no legal representation or specialist knowledge of the media. Although people in the public eye can and do complain to us too, the vast majority (95% in 2008) of complainants are ordinary members of the public.
