The bookkeeper key responsibility is to prepare financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and underlying records. You cannot do your accounting yourself on QuickBooks and you will need to hire someone to do the job. In order to become a bookkeeper one must fulfill several basic and educational requirements. It can either be a full time employee or an accounting service provider. The bookkeeper must have the following qualifications: domicile in Thailand, fair knowledge of Thai language, to the extent that he/she can perform his/her work. He/she must not have been imprisoned for an offence under the accounting or auditing laws or if he had a period of not less than 3 years must have passed since then.
