Can anyone become a professional bodybuilder?
Not anyone can become a bodybuilder. A lot of variable have to be tweaked in your favor in order to accomplish this. 1) Genetics play a hige role in how aesthetic your body is. Some people’s frame just isn’t made to support mounds of muscle. If this can be overcome then there are a few other things to consider. Are you comfortable with breaking the law? Every professional IFBB bodybuilder (and I mean every single one) uses anabolic steroids. They do have natural competitions but they don’t carry near the amount monetary rewards or recognition as say the Mr. Olympia contest or the Arnold Classic. That’s one thing to think about. Another thing is judging is a very subjective process. One judge might think a particular contestant has a winning physique while the other 2 think another guy is the winner. There are a lot of politics and luck involved. I’m not trying to rain on your parade but it takes dedication and hard work so good luck!
Success is driven by genetics, length of muscle, insertion and origin points etc. These elements will enable muscle to be built quicker and the body to work harder and lift heavier. Some people train just as hard but don’t build the mass to be a successful professional bodybuilding. However if you give up your day job, live the life of a bodybuilding you could say you are a professional.
