SoundSkin’s PhotoTherapy System is routinely used for the treatment of moderate acne and provides anti-aging skin stimulaton. There is no report of any short or long term side effects, however we suggest that pregnant women should not be exposed to light therapy. Additionally, certain steroids and prescription drugs can make the skin light sensitive contraindicating light therapy.
