Can anyone be referred for NHS treatment?

0

Any child or adolescent under the age of 18 years of age can be referred by their dentist to be placed on the NHS waiting list. This is over 12 months at the present time. However if the adolescent is over 18 years of age when they are seen they cannot have treatment on the NHS. Patients cannot be prioritised by age.
