Can anyone be coached?
No, not all executives can be coached. To be coached, a client must demonstrate that they are committed to personal growth, open to new ideas and willing to change. This can include profiling assessments (360-degree Feedback Survey, DISC, Myers-Briggs, Herman Brain Dominance Indicator, etc.), interviews (with peers, team members and managers.) and/or company-specific research. To get a better picture of your life as a whole and the areas of development you wish to focus on, surveys are also employed. Initial background information is the topic of discussion early in the coaching relationship and is used to establish goals and a development plan.
