Can anyone attend standing committee steering group meetings?
A. According to ACI-NA Executive Committee policy, any member of a standing committee can attend a steering group meeting. The steering group leadership may ask non-steering group members to refrain from discussion until the steering group members have the opportunity to speak, and non-steering group members may not vote on steering group issues. Meetings may also be closed to non-steering group members for limited discussion topics (may pertain to airport-only or legal issues). Q. How can Airport or Associate Members get on a committee? A. Airport or Associate Members can join a committee simply by asking the committee chair or committee secretary (ACI-NA staff) to add his or her name to the list. Q.
