Each budgeting and planning spreadsheet is password protected, and only you have your password – the software has been designed so that the only viewer of your online spreadsheet can be you. Explanation: The only way that your spreadsheet can be seen is my opening your account with your unique password and only you know your password. We do not store your password; we only store a chain of characters (a long chain of letters, numbers and symbols) that represent your password known as a hash, and when you sign-in using your password the hash created is matched against the hash stored to determine if there is a match, which can only happen when the correct password is entered. Therefore, we do not have a copy of your password, and we cannot see what’s on your spreadsheet.
