Can anyone answer a medical question about strangulation please?

What you are describing, left sided weakness, can suggest a stroke to the right side of your brain. Strangulation can cause compression to your windpipe as well as to the arteries, carotids, on the sides of your neck which take oxygen and blood to your brain. You could have trauma to these as well. PLEASE TELL YOUR DOCTOR OF YOUR SYMPTOMS AND THE POLICE OF THIS DOMESTIC ABUSE. I’m adding to my answer because your situation has me worried. Have you seen your doctor yet?!?! The symptoms you’re describing are quite worrisome and may reflect some serious circulatory and respiratory problem due to trauma to the arteries in your neck that go to your brain and your trachea (windpipe). The recurrent left sided weakness I described above. The fatigue could be a result of not getting enough oxygen (hypoxemia) —you may have damaged your windpipe. Please also think about some counseling, go to a support group, I think you’ll feel better. Good luck to you.
