Can anybody tell me why my new printer only prints half a page?
There could be several reasons, but I suspect cartridges . The printer might have stayed loong time on the shelves, or it might be a refurbished one- that is the cartridges might have been used before and stayed without being touched for a long time, which made the tiny little tins on the cartridge to have sticked and not allowing enough ink to pass through them, or simply the cartridges are old, and the ink is not flowing properly, I would suggest- try to clean the cartridge with a soft cloth (cotton), or print several test pages until the cartridge is fine.
