To see the average temperature I would check out the National Climatic Data Center website (www.ncdc.noaa.gov). You can go to their free data section (on the left), then scroll down to their Global Summary of the Day product. That product contains daily averages of what the weather was at locations all around the globe. They should have all the information for last week in there. The information is in English units, not Metric.
