Can anybody tell me about St Peter the apastole?
Saint Peter was the first pope. He was one of Jesus’ twelve apostles, and preached Jesus’ message throughout the Roman Empire. The Bible recounts many tales of miracles he worked, and even talks about his missionary travels. He was crucified for his beliefs by the Romans, but insisted on being crucified upside down because he felt unworthy to die like Jesus.
