Archaeologists must make application each year to the Ministry of Culture for a licence to conduct archaeological fieldwork. Part of the licencing process makes it necessary for the licenced archaeologist to receive permission from a landowner to: a) enter property to conduct fieldwork; and b) remove artifacts.
