Can anybody beat George Washington in the A-10?
League coaches are confident in their teams’ ability to defeat the Colonials. GW has struggled of late, but is finishing games off well enough to win. The general sense is that Saint Joseph’s and Charlotte have the best shot to unseat the Colonials. The way the bracket is set up, GW has to get by Rhode Island or Temple, then Saint Louis, Saint Joe’s or Dayton before a final that likely would be against Charlotte, La Salle, UMass or Xavier. If GW doesn’t win the conference tournament, someone else loses a bid. The A-10 is slated to get only one bid because of mediocre play in the rest of the league and GW’s dominance.
