Can any organization be a Terps for Change community partner?

Yes! Terps for Change will work with any community organization that meets the requirements. The requirements to be a community partner are to (1) serve a real need as defined by the community, (2) exhibit genuine commitment to the Terps for Change program, (3) demonstrate a willingness to support a meaningful and educational service-learning experience for student volunteers (e.g., provide context and information about the community’s need(s), engage with students in critical thinking about the complexities of the social issues at hand, encourage students to be purposeful and reflective in their service initiatives), and (4) provide an on organization site supervisor who will serve as a Terps for Change liaison.
