Can any one host a sponsored horse ride?
Putting on any horse event takes alot of time, effort, people and money. However, the amount of each you need depends on what sort of event it is. If you’re getting people together to go on a trail ride and they donate money, that’s one thing. But if you are planning to have a show, you need alot more. PLUS you need to make sure that wherever you have the event (unless it’s on public land) that you have insurance in case there is any accident to anyone. If you are doing this to promote a charity, contact the charity and ask them for ideas on how they can help you.
