Can any of the Friendship products be frozen?
We do not recommend freezing our Cottage Cheese, Sour Cream, Buttermilk or Yogurt, as the taste and texture may be adversely affected. However, our Farmer Cheese and Hoop Cheese can be frozen up to 3 months successfully. Since Farmer Cheese has a shorter date for consumption (3 days) once opened, you can freeze any remaining portions. However, we do suggest that remaining portions be placed in a zip lock bag before placing in the freezer.
