Can any of the BRAC recommendations for Bethesda be changed and relocated elsewhere?
A. No. The BRAC recommendations became law in November 2005 and we are required to implement the recommendations by Sept. 15, 2011. The proposed supporting facilities not mandated by the BRAC law may be subject to change but they must also meet the needs of the enhanced command structure after BRAC is completed.
