Can any employer register on the CRC site?
Only employers who employ, or who intend to employ, people in ‘positions of trust’ are allowed to sign applications to the CRB. ‘Positions of trust’ covers a range of positions which are listed on the CRB website. If your organisation does not employ people in any of the specified positions, it is not entitled to submit Disclosure applications to the CRB and should not therefore register on this site.

Regulated activity covers a range of positions which are listed on the CRB website. If your organisation does not employ people in positions of regulated activity, it is not entitled to submit Disclosure applications to the CRB and should not therefore register on this site. Individuals wishing to apply for their own ISA registration will be able to register on the site for that purpose when the ISA checking system is introduced. Please note that under no circumstances may an individual register themselves on the site as an organisation, or apply for their own CRB. When applying for ISA registration, applicants will not be able to apply for the combined ISA registration and Enhanced CRB.
