Can any dog besides a Chow have purple spots on their tounges?
ANY breed of dog can have spots on its tongue. It doesnt matter if its a purebred or a mix. Spots on the tongue are just pigment, similar to freckles on your skin.. its not an indication of having chow in the mix. People made this assumption because chows are suppossed to have mostly black gums and a blue-black tongue. Just tell people he’s a beagle mix when they ask what breed he is.
