my brother just got into the trades, which in canada there is a really high demand for. construction does not stop in the winter unless there is an extreme cold weather warning or if there is a heavy snowfall….so i suggest you buy yourself a warm pair of socks and a nice pair of long john’s. Toronto is not as cold as some parts of canada….Im not sure what the weather is like in Whitby, (which is about 40 mintues east of Toronto on a Sunday… in traffic its more like an hour and a half drive) im assumign they do get more snow then toronto because its not as built up and it takes longer to melt. some are self employed, some find work through employment agencies. I believe the wages start at 15$/hr and go up depending on experience and what qualfications you have, so the more you work the more you make. Some companies pay you over time, and some don’t.
