Can any American trace there ancestry back to the first english settlers there?

Well, how far back do you need to go? I can positively trace mine back to Jamestown 1610 as many of my ancestors were Ancient Planters but not certain about the very first crew that came over in 1607 (there weren’t very many and most died anyway so there won’t be many descendants from the very first batch). Almost all of my ancestors are from the original British settlers who came here prior to the Revolutionary War and most were English who arrived in the 1600’s. I guess it depends on what you mean “first English settlers” but many have “early English settlers” if that helps.
