Can another license manager be used to serve Intel software products?
No. Only the Intel® License Manager fo r FLEX lm may be used to serve Intel software products. The license server shipped with SGI ProPack* for example does not work with the Intel Software Products. Can other license managers run on the same system with the Intel License Manager for FLEX lm? Yes. We are not aware of any incompatibilities with other license managers, so multiple license managers may run concurrently. The Intel License Manager for FLEX lm should be installed in its own directory structure, so as not to overwrite any existing license manager information.
