What causes a hot tooth? How do you know if you have a hot tooth in the first place? If you have a hot tooth is their any way to save the tooth? Will antibioticts take care of it? Or is the best thing to do is to just have it taken out? In December of 2006 I had a dental implant placed in the upper left side of my mouth. The Dr used two mini titanium implants in the space. It went well, but a day later my cheek on that side was tight. Later that month it started to bleed; hurt and it had an unpleasant order from the site (during this time my cheek still feels tight and almost numb). The following month Jan 07 I went back to have the permanent crown put on. Before he did this I expressed my concerns about the problem. He acknowledged the fact that there was bleeding and redness and told me no infection I probably shifted the temporary cap he put on when I ate.
